Misbah Al Droubi was born in Damascus on 9 October 1959. He is fluent in five languages: French, Spanish, English, Arabic and Russian and has lived and worked in several countries.

Educated in Syria and France, his professional experience is both diverse and extensive.

His career began in architecture and construction when he founded “L’atelier d’amenagement de l’espace’, developing touristic, residential and office building projects in Syria.

1990
Misbah established “Aviation Consultancy Services” (ACS), a private jet brokerage service, which later became involved in commercial aviation. In 1992, ACS was successful in winning the tender for award of contract as KLM’s agent in the Middle East for Engineering and Maintenance.

1997
He set-up a 2000 m² Medical Rehabilitation Center in Egypt, the first of its kind in the Middle East, with a staff of 85, consisting of doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, psychologists and speech-therapists.

This project was both developed and financed by Misbah. The center was later registered on the stock exchange and 40% of the shares were purchased by financial institutions.

2002
Misbah established himself in the Ukraine in. He worked on several projects in the following areas of business:

1. The establishment of a steel trading department within HARES group in Ukraine.

2. The acquisition of MMZ Moldavian Steel Works in 2004.

3. 2005, the merger of two oil exploration companies: “Rudis” in Ukraine and the AIM listed company “Cardinal Resources” London, in which he is the major shareholder and a board member.

4. The major acquisition of 37, 5% of the Nikolayev Shipyard.

5. A Real Estate development project of 54 hectares near Borispol airport Kiev. This project includes 5 hotels, a commercial mall, a night life village and a 3000 m2 spa. In addition to developing the project concept, he created the financial structure and venture between the Hardt Group (American/Austrian Hedge fund) and Hares group in 2007.

6. The development for a French group, of a Linen agricultural project of 32 thousand hectares in the Ukraine in 2007.

Since 2009
Misbah has played a major role in many hotel transactions in Spain.
